Traditional Irish Furniture Design in Tuam, Co. Galway

Corrib Crafts is a small Tuam based company, which was established in 1986 in the 'Old School House' (Mall School), just off the centre of Tuam. Our aim is to reproduce high quality traditional Irish design craft furniture, incorporating the 'Al O'Dea' range of furniture.

At Corrib Crafts, the furniture we produce, is simple in design, but practical in use, combined with the traditional construction methods of using mortice and tenons joints in solid hardwoods, to secure a long lasting life. Our unique range of furniture consists of, kitchen/dinning room tables and chairs, occasional chairs, dressers, sitting room units, bedroom furniture, bespoke furniture and kitchen units, in a style to complement our furniture.

In this website, we illustrate some of our products and hope to attempt, to produce craft furniture of a uniquely Irish design.

We have many other designs and are happy to design special items in what we hope is a distinctively Irish design.
